Heraldic description

The coat of arms is a shield erect, couped en pointe, pierced flanche of Baroque effect, the base is curved to a point. The field is party per pale with a horizontal wavy strip azure. In the middle of the upper field or three roses gules with centres or and flower cups vert are borne in a V-shape. Below, in the middle of the field or a ploughshare bladed to dexter and furrow vert, each accompanied by a six pointed star vert.

Below the shield a three-dissected bent, dovetailed on both sides strip or is borne with the name of the village VÉKÉNY in the middle written with capital letters.
