Pálháza

(The County of Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén)

In field argent a triangular shield erect a chief gules. In the field gules an eight-pointed star or, couped, flanked by an apostolic cross or on the dexter and a Greek Catholic triple cross or on the sinister. In field argent a triple mound, in its field vert a hammer and wedge or, crossed in saltire. Above the triple mound issuing from the contour line of the middle mound a deer gules contourné holding a rooted pine branch in its foreleg. The shield is flanked on both sides by an oak branch vert each adorned with seven acorns or, the stem crossed in saltire. Below the coat-of-arms on a triple sectioned concave scroll or the motto PÁLHÁZA is borne in majuscules sable. The name of the settlement is preceded and followed by an ornamental dot.
