Ősagárd

(The County of Nógrád)

Spade shield erect and vert, its base is curved to a point. In field vert three ears of wheat or are borne encouped, bound at their stalk. Shield is topped by a heraldic crown or, decorated gules and vert. Below the shield a tripartite and swallow-tailed arched ribbon or, with the settlement’s name ŐSAGÁRD inscribed in it in letters sable. At the two ends of the ribbon two hounds are borne, with their front feet supporting the shield.
