Heraldic description:

Three-pointed shield erect, in field azure a pelican argent with beak gules in nest or on a ploughshare argent, recumbent, couped pointed downwards. The pelican ripping her bosom open, feeding her three young ones with three drops of blood gules. The shield is flanked on both sides by an oak branch vert, each adorned with seven acorns or, the stems crossed in saltire. Below the coat-of-arms on a triple sectioned, swallow-tailed concave scroll or the motto NAGYCSÁNY is borne in majuscules sable. The settlement’s name is preceded and followed by an ornamental dot.
