(The County of Bács-Kiskun)
The town council of Kiskunfélegyháza intends to continue the tradition of the last decades, to continue using the coat of arms of the town as a symbol of the town.
This symbol of the town consists of an oval blue shield, with a green field at the bottom, an arched silver town gate with red roof, a Cumanian soldier standing guard under the arch in black background, putting his spear down to the ground.
The Cumanian soldier is wearing gold boots, red trousers, short blue coat with gold braiding and belt, a red high cap on his head with black hem bending backwards. The golden crown with 5 points placed over the coat of arms, also belongs to it, the crown is complemented with gold shawl patterned with gold Baroque trailer and leaf motives.
The coat of arms used to symbolize the privileges, the noble prerogatives of the town.
The figure of the Cumanian soldier was taken from the coat of arms of Kiskun Captain Post, referring to the military services of the Cumanians.
The coat of arms passes on the needed respect and homage of the late descendants.
