Járdánháza

(Borsod-Abaúj-Zemplén county)

Renaissance shield base curved to a point, in dexter party per bend with azure and vert. In chief dexter vert a chapel named after Béla IV, which is situated near the village. Heraldic figure in center: a noble figure holding a sword in sinister hand wearing a vest gules and a cloak sable. Above the shield an erect helmet is borne affronte, on dexter a leaf or and gules, on sinister a leaf argent and azure surround the shield. Under the shield in antique letters the word JÁRDÁNHÁZA is read.
