Basic Information
Accessibility: The village of Dánszentmiklós lies along the Albertirsa-Örkény road. The nearest railway station is in Albertirsa.
Characteristics: The area of the village is located on the sandy plain between the Danube and the river Tisza. Its soil is a mixture of sand and clay. The characteristic trees of the region are poplar and birch, as well as oak. The word "dán" (forest folk) in the name of the village refers to the extensive forests in the area. During the Turkish occupation the village had Turk-ish landowners. In the early 20th century it belonged to Alberti. The village, which can be divided into several parts, was formed around the Mitsky manor.
Sights: The Tetves-halom pre-served remnants of an Árpád era settlement. The local Roman Catholic Church was built in 1960.
Infrastructure: The settlement has piped water, telephone and electricity systems. The collection of garbage is organized. 60% of the roads are paved. In the village there is a kindergarten and a primary school, a family doctor and a dentist, a cultural center and sports facilities, as well as a post office and chemist's.
Economy: Besides faming, which has always played an important role in the economy of the village, the importance of gardening, and grape- and fruit-production has grown since 1945. The first local agricultural cooperative, formed in 1949, was later followed by others. These cooperatives specialized in large-scale fruit-production. Based on this, a case-making workshop was establiched in 1971, which was followed by a canning and refrigerating plant in 1973. Since the change of regime several private enterprises have been founded to work in the field of agricultural production, packag-ing and trade.

Grundlegende Informationen
Verkehrsverbindungen: Die Siedlung befindet sich neben der Straße zwischen Albertirsa und Örkény. Ihr Bahnhof Albertirsa.
Charakteristik: 2549 Einwohner. Der Boden besteht aus Sand und Ton. Acuh in der Arpadenzeit existierten mehrere Siedlungen im Gebeit der Gemeinde. Das Dorf wurde das erste Mal 1324 urkundlich erwähnt. Verschiedene Edeldynanstien besaßen es. Am Ende des 16. Jahrhunderts wurde es zersört. Das Gebiet gehörte im 18., 19. Jahrhundert zu den umliegenden Dörfen. Die Feldwirtschaft spielte eine grundlegende Rolle im Leben der Siedlung. Die Wichtigkeit der Obst und Weingästen ist nach 1945 gewachsen.
Sehenswürdigkeiten: Das Gemeindehaus ist 1944 gebaut worden.
Infrastruktur: 950 Häuser stehen im Zentrum des Dorfes. 60% der Straßen ist asphaltiert. Es gibt Seitungstrinkwasser, ein Telefonnetz und ein, elektrisches Netz. Ein Arzt und ein Zahnarzt arbeiten in der Gemeinde. Eine Grundschule, ein kindergarten, ein Kulturhars, ein Sporthaus, eine 650 m2 große Sporthalle, eine Apotheke und Postamt stehen zur Verfügung. Eine Buslinie sichert die Verbindung mit Albertirsa.
Wirtschaft: Die Einwohner leben von der Landwirtschaft. Das staatliche Gut gehört zu dem von Monor. Sein Gebiet beträgt 4602 Katastraljoch. Die Sandwirtschaftliche Produktions genossenschaft Micsurin beschäftigt sich mit Obstbau.
