Bakonyszentiván

(Veszprém County)

The description of the coat-of-arms: rounded base shield party per fess argent. In the upper field azure a three-verdured coronet couped. Below the coulter or pointed upwards, bladed sinister. At the back a plougshare or couped pointed upwards. Between them three ears of wheat at a slant to the dexter.

The coronet symbolises Maria and refers to the Madonna of Alt Ötting. (The ear of wheat, the coulter and the ploughshare is taken from the old seal.)
