The coat-of-arms of the local authority: rounded base shield erect, party per fess by a wavy band argent-azure-argent. In the upper field argent, issuing from the wavy band, a Badacsony-hill vert is borne, above it a vine tendril crossed, with a bunch of grapes and a leaf, all vert. In the lower dexter field azure a falcon argent-sable is borne, displayed headed contourné. The lower sinister field gules bears a griffin or rearing to the dexter.
